I applied three weeks ago, but am worried i won't get admitted because they said they'd call and i never pick up my phone - my mailbox is full. I am just lying in bed waiting for my next therapy appointment, and desperately need a place to go. I feel so useless. On borrowed time. Failed my parents and myself.

Does anyone know how long their mental health department takes to accept an application? And how soon after can i choose a housing program?

Thanks

If you never answer and they can't leave a message how are they supposed to contact you?

I figure i'd call them?

I don't want to pick up my phone for anyone. It's probably mostly credit card companies anyway. I am in isolation right now. Well let's be honest, i have always been in isolation.

Why not go in person ? No one here can give you a time frame as every place is a different animal.

Where I started it took 2 weeks I was discharged from psych ward sui so the facility got my psych appts set up

Hope you hear something soon, but....why not at least delete you're mailbox so a provider can get a hold of you

True, i should go in person.

I wont deleted my messages id have to listen to them all to do so. I don't want to be reminded of affairs i had it will make me feel worse.

I'll go in person.

I also added 3 of their numbers to my phone. Hopefully they call from those main lines.

it really bites when you can't listen to your messages because you know they are full of stressors !

Christina has a good idea and show go in person.

I know you are overwhelmed and stressed but keep hope alive my friend!

Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I understand not wanting to hear voicemail. I feel the same way.
However, sooner or later, I have to force myself. (mine is full of medical info. of which I am very tired right now.) Until I clear out the voicemail box, I am setting myself up for more disorganization.

I hope you can find the courage to clear out your voicemail soon.
It's in your best interest, since you are awaiting word on services.

It can be triggering, I know.
