What is BPD? Is that BiPolar Disorder or Borderline Personality Disorder?

I had a counselor tell me years ago I was Borderline, and then a psychiatrist tell me yssterday I am Bipolar II, but they both seem very similar. Too similar for me to decide if I agree on either diagnosis or not...

I think the general consensus is that it stands for Borderline Personality Disorder, while BP is short for Bipolar ("disorder" is inferred I guess)

Anyway, I have both, so it doesn't matter. What is BPD?

I have both as well, although I agree with Pug - it usually stands for Borderline Personality.
