Does anyone have a good medication for OCD that doesn't make bipolar worse?

NAC supplements are supposed to help, but I haven't really found that they do. I mostly work on OCD in therapy since SSRIs are off the table.

I've been doing therapy for the OCD and it helps but not enough. I think my atypical makes the OCD worse too. I'm afraid of SSRIs because they have flipped me in the past but i wasn't on a mood stabilizer at the same time.

My mother takes something that is supposed to help her OCD and depression at the same time. For some reason, I'm thinking Zoloft but I'll check on that. I know that is an SSRI so may not help you.

I think I might try the zoloft now that i'm on a high dose atypical. I'm nervous because prozac made me psychotically manic but i wasn't on a mood stabilizer. I just need relief. My doctor is ok with trying it but i'm so afraid. That's why I want more stories from people here who are bipolar and OCD and what helped them and what made them worse

Paxil is used for OCD but it's a AD. There's many more just do a google search. I know I've read about a few.
