I know we've been posting about lowering our Lamictal dosage....we are from 400 mg now down to 275 mg.

We have totally changed. We are no longer overboard crazy (yeah )...
And can't drink like a fish. I was drinking 18-24 beers a night....now I can barely drink 6.

We are calm, mellow.....irritated from the drug reduction but that will pass.

Target dose is 200 mg., or just go off and quit the prozac, too.

Now somewhat aware of the past few years behavior....kinda pissed off irritated that doctors woukd over prescribe you thinking that it's whats needed all the while your head gets worse and you can't see the gradual change.

I'm p.o.'d.

I'm watching my mood changes mentally charting them....and so far so good.

I love 200mg of Lamictal totally destroys my depression. I just woke up one morning after about a week at 200mg and the depression was gone.

Oh...this isnt about quitting. It's about improving memory a bit, balance, and not being an anxious nut.

At first lamictal made me so dizzy I had to hold on to my walls to get around. But my memory is still shot. I'm being active on here tonight but you have no idea how many times I had to go back and read OP's post again because I seriously can't remember.

I'm glad you are all doing better and I hope it continues for you. The doctors try their best I think but we are all so different and so it's not as concrete a science as I wish it was. Hopefully in the future they will be able to weigh and measure our transmitters or something. Good luck.
