I started taking my lamictal (300mg) at night because it turns my brain to soup. It makes me forget EVERYTHING. However I noticed I've been getting less sleep even on a high dose of seroquel. I've also been waking up quite often throughout the night. Is it the lamictal or just a coincidence?

It's the Lamictal. When I was on 300 I tried to split 150 AM/PM, and had the exact same experience as you. I got less sleep, and the sleep I did get was interrupted by periods of waking up and falling back to sleep.

I know some people take Lamictal in the PM, but it didn't work for me.

Yea I used to split the dose but I started to take it all before bed to avoid side effects. But now I think I'll start taking it in the morning and at noon.

I am slightly constipated don't know if its the lamictal or the lithium. I am assuming the lamictal.

massive doses of vitamin c! seriously. i do orthomolecular every day, so im forever taking tons of vitamin C (20grams at this point).

if you don't usually take vitamin c, popping a handful of the normal release (not delayed release, not time release, etc.) tablets can usually fix constipation quickly. vitamin c has a very short half-life, so as long as you use the instant release tablets, it should be in and out, no problem.

When I started , it was definitely activating. Now, I'm 300mg, it knocks me out like a sleeping pill.
