I'm sitting here at Starbucks waiting for my eye Dr appointment and I just want to sleep! I took the zyprexa at 730 this morning so almost 3 hours ago. It's kicking my butt. I gotta wake up! I so want a nap though. I see Pdoc tomorrow so we'll see if she changes anything. I do feel better since she moved my dose to the daytime.

Can you take it in the evening before bedtime? Would that maybe help with the sedation during the day a bit?

I'm taking it during the day to help with the paranoid and anxious thoughts which it has.

I also find zyprexa activating, so I take it in the morning. Extra strong coffee needed, perhaps?

Good thing you are at Starbucks... an espresso may be in order. Good luck with your med change!

I have to take mine at night, a couple hours before bed, so that I can rightfully crash. I hope your pdoc can change something up for you to better manage the drowsiness.

Hows the Rexulti working for you ? Maybe taking both is causing the issue. Might be a good question to ask your Pdoc.
