Anybody else wake up in the morning or from an afternoon nap and wonder wtf was that about?! I can't even begin to describe what these dreams are about, but images sometimes remain in my head through the day. Or have you ever had a dream that put you in such a mood that the rest of the day you were just sad or anxious? These dreams on risperdal are just bizarre! This last one jumped from me being a hospital employee, to hanging out at some celebrity's house, to joining some kind of mob, to trying to find walmart, to some other I don't what else....

I am usually very confused when I wake up after my after dinner nap. I can't tell the difference between my dream and reality or if I'm even awake. But my wife says I get up after every nap and go sit at my desk and that we often talk although I remember none of it.
I too am on Risperidal plus Zopiclone so weird dreams are bound to happen.

Trazodone gives me crazy dreams. Even at this time of day (afternoon), I remember one I had last night.

I take valerian root which contributes to odd vivid dreams. My problem is that if the dream is emotionally charged (usually negatively), I will feel that emotion for a good portion of the day. A bad dream can **** up my whole day. I don't like it.

I have always had super crazy dreams, very vivid, emotional and feel like they last all night long. I truly wake up some mornings exhausted feeling as though I've already completed a day's activities. And this is on no meds. I rarely dream on immovane and hallucinate when tapering off antidepressants.

To wake refreshed would be a blessing! Maybe one day

I have crazy dreams from time to time but find that most of my dreams have something to do with what's been on my mind or been bothering me. The dreams that make me feel bad are those in which I'm ecstatically happy and not sick. The memory stays with me when I wake up to reality and it's tough. Best wishes.

I used to have vivid dreams when I started Lipitor. Now I sleep regularly. I think it might have interacted with what I was taking before.

Same here, and yes, some of them occasionally leave me in a quite-confused or -troubled state where I am uncertain (or maybe at first do not even suspect) it was merely a dream...and at times that can last for an hour or two until a re-grasp of my immediate reality has again cleared my brain, or something like that.

Yea very often while dreaming, I'm convinced I'm awake and if it's a nightmare I scream and can't understand why nobody's coming to help me. Sometimes it happens several times in one night to the point I'm petrified to fall back asleep for fear the stupid thing will carry on. Messed up

I used to have lots of lucid dreams- the kind where you know you're dreaming and can change what happens. Once I told someone in my dream that we were in my dream and therefore they didn't really exist.

I think my most freakish recent dream was I dreamt I was asleep and my limbs were all massive and huge and not attached to me and when I woke it probably took me a half hour or so to feel whole and attached again.

Yes, but then there are other times when I can somewhat easily dismiss the nightmare as a mere dream and feel relieved, then sleep peacefully for the remainder of the night.

I used to have a recurrent dream of someone chasing me and trying to kill me. And when that person would get really close I would wake myself up.

I had a dream last night that I was house hunting. My husband and kids were the ones from the show Home Improvement...LOL! Narrowed it down to a gorgeous house though. If only!

When I was in my last psychosis the dreams I had were horrible and lasted even after I got stable. They would easily ruin my whole day and make me terrified of sleeping again because of how horrible they are. They were torture, plain and simple and fed heavily into my delusional mind set. I'm so glad they are gone. Saphris might have increased these dreams but it has lessened thank goodness. They were so terrible beyond measure. My heart goes out to anyone who has nightmares. I've always been a very, very vivid dreamer with very complex dream plot lines that I can't believe my mind can just make up on its own. It's hard to believe my brain can do that at night. I'm fascinated by dreams and would love to learn more about why some people have vivid dreams pretty constantly and others do not or never remember them.

Elsa I used to remember my dreams in vivid detail when I was younger but now (45) I'm lucky to remember them when I wake up. Sometimes I do but it's more infrequent. I used to have frequent lucid dreams at ages 20 and 21.
