Does anyone else get that feeling where you are sitting down and know you have to go do something but can't? I sit here at work a lot with that feeling. My head gets that foggy feeling. I get that overwhelmed feeling. I sometimes get chills. I keep saying to myself over and over that I have to get up but just can't. Then I start to feel like I am agitated and can't sit still but I still can't get up and do what I need to. Things like this are the reason my T and pdoc want me on disability.

When in severe depression, I am often "paralyzed" much like your description.

I am sorry you are going through this. It's very frustrating, sometimes demoralizing.

Please take care.

Yes. It feels like being plugged in so electricity is running through my body, but I can't seem to move, or moving is very difficult.

I absolutely feel like this when I'm depressed. A perfect description.

I hate it when that happens. My mind says Go while my body says No, resulting in severe agitation even though I can't seem to get myself off the sofa. I feel for you, Crook.
