So I have a lot going on in my head right now. Its more prominent at night. I guess because I'm better distracted in the day. I dread every night because I know I can't escape my own head and its hard to go to sleep with so much going on in there. I have a lot of SI and some times it cause HI because I can't leave certain ppl behind. Last night my emotional and mental pain was causing physical pain and the SI was a little more intense than usual. (*TRIGGER*) I just kept thinking that I could just take all the meds and go to sleep and be at peace. So I found a Crisis Text line and I text them. It was kind of weird though, I don't know what I was expecting but it kind of reminds me of the way my old therapist would ask me about how I feel and why and what I need in order to feel better. They also kind of tell you how they think you feel which was pretty accurate. It helped. It lessened the thoughts and I fell asleep texting them. If anyone here ever needs help getting to sleep or just to feel better and talk to someone without having to call you can text "Start" to 741741

I've used this crisis text line many times and it's really helped me out of some tight spots. I usually type hello. Best wishes.

Not sure I'm doing too much better. It did help last night though. I just know that tonight I'll feel the same and that sucks. Hopefully it wont be as bad though.

I've never used a crisis textline, but I'm so glad that we have this option available because we didn't have it 10 years ago.

I'm glad you found it very helpful, and thank you for reminding us that crisis textlines are available.

Personally, I would much rather text than talk... because I always sob over the phone whenever I'm in a crisis and talking to my pdoc. Half the time, he doesn't even know what I'm saying because I'm mumbling, and it hurts even more to repeat things
