How do you keep your meds?

*In the individual bottles? (Take each pill out each day, however many times a day?)

*
In a "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ..." pill box? Maybe even a "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... AM/PM" box? (Or more.)

*
Your meds are put into "blister packs" at the pharmacy, so you don't have to fill the Sunday-Saturday weekly box(es) that lasts four weeks.

*Other

I have so many medications that I keep the individual bottles in a box about the size of a large shoebox and take them as prescribed. I've not found a Mon...Tues...Wednes pillbox big enough for my daily meds and don't have the patience for it anyway. I am getting tired of shuffling through all the bottles each day looking for the right ones though.

I have two weekly pill boxes one for am and one for pm, I fill them once a week, then my bottles go into a bag and into the closet.

I have a weekly pill box with both AM and PM compartments. It's big enough to hold both my prescription meds and supplements. I fill it on the weekend, no big deal. I don't relish filling it, but it's better than sorting through all the bottles every time.

Individual bottles. I have the pharmacist print me a small jar for travel with the right labels for depakote (jumbo size tablet, jumbo size 30 day jar).

I keep them in the original pill bottles. I may go back to a weekly pill box now that I'm actually starting to take all the supplements pdoc wants me to. It's getting to be too much to remember.

I did the pillbox thing for a while (maybe 1 month?), but my meds kept changing too often for me to justify using a pillbox. I'd often get confused about what was what. I mean, at one point, my Seroquel looked identical to my Lexapro! I had to use Google to look up the marking on the pill.

Nowadays, I just keep everything in a bottle if I have a bottle. My Rexulti is currently blister packed because I'm using samples, so that's the only med of mine not in a bottle.

*sigh* Pillboxes make things a lot easier, but they're not practical for me.

I have a pillbox now bc I have to take a prolactin med twice a week. I take latuda in the AM too so it just helps me keep track better.

I've done that for years and found it tedious. That's why I found a pharmacy that does blister packs.

I keep them in the original bottles. One set in the right hand cabinet for morning, the others in the left hand cabinet for evening. And two bottles on the counter that I have to take AM and PM.

I'm so used to it, it's like second nature at this point.

I'm used to it too, but that doesn't make it any less tedious. It takes 45 minutes for one thing. For another, I take so many prescriptions that just moving the bottles in an organised manner takes up time.

I used to keep them all in a little container with sections for each type of pill, and I'd just grab the ones I needed at the right time.

I take them 3x a day, and recently I started having memory problems and kept forgetting whether I'd taken them. So sadly I'm switching to the weekly morning, noon, night boxes. I got the removable kind so I can take the day's meds around with me to work and stuff. Hope this will help keep me on track. What a pain. It was so much easier when I could trust myself not to forget. Oh well.

I get a weekly blister pack which is delivered every Tuesday. I used to have a terrible problem with bottles and getting confused about which I had taken and when. The blister pack has saved from the overdosing problems I used to have with separate pills.
Thanks for this!

I keep things in their bottles, then refill a four compartment strip each morning. Then I use them, morning, after lunch, after dinner, before bed. Repeat.

I use separate 7-day pill minders. The AMs are next to the coffeemaker, and the PMs are in the console in the sofa which is where I am every night. (Good thing I don't have little kids.) I absolutely hate Saturday mornings which is when I fill the containers...I'm on six psych meds, four blood-pressure meds, aspirin, thyroid pills and various vitamins and supplements. But it's better than having to take every pill out of every bottle, twice a day, so I just do it and get the hassle over with. I keep the original bottles in a plastic basket in my room.
