Bad day already

Bad day already

F_CK

That happened to my SUV tire! Yes, it's a massive piece of wood! Now I need to buy four new tires because air is seeping out and apparently the dealership did a terrible job aligning the tires! (The treads are uneven.) Thank god for 4th of July sales, but seriously???

I bought my SUV brand new in 2014 and it has only 30,000 miles on it. The tires are supposed to last 80,000 miles, so this really, really sucks.

I also just spent $1390 on new furniture yesterday, which included a mattress and headboard thingy that has storage underneath it.

If only I had known yesterday before I invested in new furniture... F_CK.

My bank account: -$1 million dollars and counting

I'm also supposed to have a pdoc appointment in less than 1 hour. That's 3 F_CK's.

No no no no NO!

I'm sorry that has happened to you. That's a bummer. I would be pretty upset too. Murphy's Law strikes again. I hope your day gets better.

That sucks, blue. Hope you're able to make it to your psychiatrist.

This is the sort of sanity check that I do when something like this happens. YMMV

Do you have a roof over your head?
Do you have clothes on your back?
Do you have food in your belly?

If you answered yes to all three, things could be worse. But they aren't, so here's hoping the rest of your day "evens out".

Thanks for this!

Sorry, blue. I'd be a bit frustrated, too.

For those who probably didn't wonder about it, the even out thing does come from Seinfeld.

Thanks guys. Borrowed my mom's minivan to get to my appointment, so it was ok.

It will now cost me $1007 for new tires and installation (which includes rotating, aligning, and balancing). The $1007 also includes a road hazard warranty.

Blowing lots of money lately, and not intentionally... Guess this is why you need to save your money, folks...

I'm sorry things are crappy. It always takes time as far as money situations go, but keep confidence, and you'll get to a better place. Car/transportation issues suck. It's good you made it to your appointment though.
