Could I be depressed?

- No, absolutely zero motivation
- Wanting to sleep all the time
- Isolating myself from people
- Eating less food
- Talking very little
- Very, very easily driven to frustration

I think I know the answer; I just want to hear it from someone else. I know only a doctor can diagnose; I'm just looking for similar experiences.

TW for SI.... (can't figure out how to make it a spoiler, sorry).

I counted the pills I have, just to know. This parallel world I'm in is dying. The sun will explode. I need a way out.

Well, it's either psychotic depression or mixed state IMO, unless you're just cycling very rapidly.

You mentioned lots of depression here, but some of your other threads hinted at manic symptoms. And I'm not just talking about psychosis, either. But again, not sure if mixed or rapid cycling

Sounds like you could be depressed. Having psychosis with depression happens too.

Hello
IMO it sounds like the depression symptoms may be from the the psychosis episode you're having. When you've experienced something like this before what helped you move on from the psychosis? It seems that when the delusions are stable the other symptoms improve as well over a period of time.
Also the possibility of the world ending in our lifetime is small. Is there something that gives you this impression that is refutable? It may be helpful to find ways that this thought process could be redirected.

If the sun explodes, you're unlikely to notice it. So you can just wait for it.

You shouldn't be in a darkened room or anything like it. Lack of stimulation causes psychosis. It's that simple. Put some music on. Watch TV. You also need to talk with someone you trust (most).

Meds can also cause dissociation, such as clonazapam. If the dissociation is worse than the fear, don't take any. You may want to take an extra dose of Zyprexa if it's not more than 5mg (every 24 hours), but it depends also on how much Seroquel you take, of course. Or take an extra dose of Seroquel, maybe 100 mg (every 24 hours). Ideally, ask your psychiatrist what to do. Remember that the effects [are; edit] not immediately clear, so certainly don't take any more than I suggested. Don't take extra doses of both Seroquel and Zyprexa.
