Do y'all ever feel like everything's going great and things are stable and the next thing you know everything is upside down? (actually I'm sure you do, seeing as we're all bipolar here.) I recently made the decision to go off medication(please don't chastise me for this. I thought about it carefully and was weaned off by my pdoc, I just have to believe that there's a better way for me), and everything was going well. Now my roommate is pressuring me to move out so that she can live with her girlfriend, and she wants this to happen in a month. We only just moved in here three months ago... So I either now have to find a new place to live, or find a person willing to take over my roommates lease. I also just recently found out that my dog has bilateral torn ligaments in both hind legs and will be needing surgery. Any money that I had went to vet bills and I don't know what to do. I can't get into my therapist for a month, and even if I could I can't afford it. For the past two days i've been physically ill and unable to eat from the stress itself. I'm now worried I'm going manic, but it doesn't feel the same as when I've been manic in the past. I can hardly eat, I can't sleep, and I have a near constant anxiety and I want to relapse into self harm. Suicidal thoughts also. I know if I relapsed right now though I wouldn't be able to control it. The only thing keeping me together right now is honestly my boyfriend, but we've only been dating a few months and I'm not sure he knows how hard this is hitting me. I need to keep it together for him, for my dog, and for my family, but I honestly don't know how much longer I can function with all of this f***ing stress...

I'm so sorry about all your going through. Can you stay with your family for a little while?

Sorry for what you are going through, maybe family or a friend could let you
stay with them for a while.

I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. If you stayed with family or friends for awhile you could save some money which would help you out. At the same time since your roommate wants to make the change you could let her do the heavy lifting (find someone to take over her lease). Are you on any meds for anxiety?
