Local tdoc is taking me to the ER tomorrow in order to get a med consultation. That's the plan, at least. I worry they will hospitalize me. I won't know until tomorrow. I have so many fears... that I'll get a huge bill, that I'll miss school and get kicked out, that the med consult will be even worse than my current pdoc's med regime.

Wish me luck tomorrow? I've only been to the ER twice I think. Any ER experiences you could share - good or bad - would be helpful.

Franz, I think you made the right decision. Best of luck when you go to the hospital.

I'm glad your tdoc is advocating for you. I think a trip to the ER will be helpful for you. If you do not have insurance and are low-income you won't have a big bill. In fact, the ER should connect you with some financial aid.
