I think I'm finally coming to my senses. I need hospital. I am not safe and I haven't been safe for weeks.
My plan is to drop out of the program, return home, and seek inpatient treatment with a team that I know very well. I feel terrible, but this is the right decision. I only hope I can make it to hospital in time before I do something stupid. County hospital here is NOT an option. It'll only make things worse (based on experience).

How can you claim the hospital there isn't an option? You never gave them a chance. Your only solid complaint was that the food sucked.
I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but there might be some in-between rather than giving up on your dream. Otherwise it may be in your best interest to follow the path you've laid out here. If that's your final decision, then I wish you the best in pursuing it. Either way, we'll be here to support you.

Either way I'd have to drop out, because I would miss too many classes. I got a really bad vibe from the nurses and doctors at the local hospital. Plus I'm not sure it's covered by my insurance (despite my many inquiries, I couldn't ascertain this). I would prefer hospital with the medical team that knows me and my history, which I would get back home.
Plus, my dream is going to Egypt, not finishing this program. The whole time this program was meant to be a precursor to Egypt. I managed to complete 5 weeks here and learned a lot, so not all is lost. Now I need to get my mental health back on track and I can't do that here. I just keep getting worse.

I was traveling today, that's why no PC. Tomorrow I'm meeting tdoc and I expect to end up in the hospital. If I go silent tomorrow, that's why.
