I'm home today and have been on here all day. When I go to work I pop in several times to check things out and spend most imif my evening on here. I think it's becoming an obsession. I spend a lot of time lurking in various forums. I do a lot of reading and very little posting. If I'm going to spend so much time here I should be more helpful. I don't know....how much time do you all spend here?

How much? That's easy: too much!

I spend a lot of time reading without posting, too. Usually that's because I don't have anything useful to say.

I read here and other forums on and off through the day. Sometimes I go a little while without adding anything though. Pesky work also has to get done, so there is that.

Probably way too much. I usually pop in quite a bit when I'm at home. I don't typically check PC while I'm at work or out doing things though.

I have checked in, off and on, throughout the day. It has varied. I have been cutting back lately. Yet, I find I like the people and am truly interested in how everyone is doing. I only check in when I am at home.

I'm usually checking in and out throughout the day. I try to post but sometimes can't think of anything to say. I try to hug or thank posts so people know they're read.

It has become routine of me to browse the forum too much. When I'm in bed I check it, when I'm at work I check it and when I'm bored I'm the phone I check it.

Generally I visit one or two times a day. My visits range from 5-10 minutes to almost half an hour in one sitting. I'll read some of the more recent posts and then reply. Since getting my new job I have visited here less frequently. I also get worried that if I visit less and less and just complain when I come here that it will just annoy people. I realize I'm going through what I perceive to be a rough patch right now. Maybe I'm overthinking it.

I feel like I've gotten to know many of you and truly care about what's going on. I feel like I could be more supportive though. I have tap talk so I'm off and on all day and sometimes I feel like I've become obsessed. I'm obviously getting something out of being here though.

I tend to go through phases - I'll be active on PC for a week or two and then go AWOL for a few months. When I'm active, I'm on and off throughout the day (posting and reading). This on and off-ness is typically due to my crazy school schedule (I'm on the quarter system)

I usually start in late afternoon and stay on for a few hours. Since I've been busy with school I can only do a few hours anyway. Don't know what it'll be like between terms next month.

I don't think I'm on too much. I have more time to do stuff, and I think it's beneficial to come here and post. I look at several forums but I don't post in all of them.

I tend to come here when I'm feeling bad. I'll skip months at a time. But sometimes it makes me feel more anxious when I'm on here too often.

I get interested and involved with people here too. It's like a little cocoon of people who understand me. I have learned so much about myself and how not to be scared of who I am.

And like Vertigo said: I don't post much because I don't know what to say. I think what I say won't make sense or will sound stupid. I have great thoughts but they don't translate when I try to post them. I usually give up.

I am very interested in what other bipolar people are experiencing, so I check in half a dozen times a day. I usually find it a little depressing, however, so I don't stay for very long. Maybe ten minutes per visit. I tend to participate late at night.

I am on the internet/pc for far too long. I call it an internet addiction.
IT interfers with me doing other things. Sometimes It makes me late in the mornings for work. or I will miss taking a shower.
I spend hours in the evenings going from face book to email to nutrition site to bipolar forum to neurotalk forum back to face book, email, etc.
You get the picture.....
sigh
I really like being a part of communities and like getting to know people... and have posted on neurotalk for 15 years with a few people there, I even speak on the telephone with one of them.

When the Minnesota weather is good, I try to find some project every day, so - in spring/summer/fall - average of 6-11 hours. Winter - 14-16 hrs - that is per day.

If I am not on the internet playing MMORPG games, I cook - then eat. Or try to find some task. But there isn't that much to do.

Net is life. haha
