Really Struggling

Haven't read all the replies, so sorry if I'm repeating...

Have you been to a doctor?

Could be something physical like your thyroid causing the extreme fatigue...

Lithium is a thyroid killer...

I was on geodon for many many years until we switched up klonipin for sleep with sxeroquel.
Geodon was my mood stabilizer and worked well.
I now am on 5 mg of abilify and am doing fine.

Thanks. My doctor is doing a full physical work-up to try to rule out physical illness and will definitely be checking my thyroid.

I feel so awful. I think I am dying. Going IP in an hour. Have little hope left.

Been IP for just over a day. Prozac has been increased as a start. See my pdoc on Monday to make a formal treatment plan. I just want to die. The pain both physical and mental is immense and I'm exhausted. I have lost all hope. Right now I'm hanging in there in case treatment works. I sleep a lot. Sorry for the negative post. I'm drowning.

Don't be sorry, hang on to any sliver hope you have. Things will get better you just have to stay safe and you are be proud of yourself for that.

You did the right thing by going in and getting help. Just hold on and let yourself relax.

I am also glad you are getting the help you need and are safe. You are very courageous. I am sorry for your pain and fatigue -- on all levels. Just allow yourself to rest if possible. Please don't be concerned if you write a "negative" post. It's important to deal with the truth. I am hoping treatment works well for you.

I hope the safety of IP will help you get better swiftly. So sorry that you've been struggling.

I have been sleeping almost non-stop, eating a little and have had my prozac increased from 15-20mg. Seeing my pdoc today and hopefully we can come up with a game plan. This depression is crushing me alive. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. The increase in Prozac does seem to have helped a little but not enough. I still am exhausted and have SI. Had blood tests on all organs, iron, thyroid, B12 etc to rule out physical causes. I am just trying to hang on and wait for things to improve. I don't have much strength left. I feel like I am dying.

I'm so sorry. I have been there...I KNEW I was dying. Didn't die, after all.

Sorry you're not feeling better.

My blood pressure is back to normal so I feel a little better physically. Still very depressed though but hopefully that will improve. Started taking Saphris last night. Hope it helps. Will start a thread on it now.

Hang in there Wander. Thankful you had enough sense about you to seek out help. Hope the new medication kicks in soon.
