So my back in up against the wall due to my depression.
My bills are now piled up and need to clear them so I can pay some more bills in August. Also need money for food so my goal is 20 hours of work. My only excuse is if my car breaks down, knock on wood.... My usual pattern is to wake up and only work 3 hours and than go back to sleep...so my goal: Friday - 6 hours Saturday - 8 hours Sunday - 6 hours If I can nail this goal Ill be thrilled, will start tonight from 8 to 2 am, so I will have time for a nice nap and have no excuses . |

Thanks for all the support!
Phase one was a great success. If I wouldn't have made this thread there is no way I would of went to make da money and went back to bed for sure. I hope to get out of bed by 9 am tomorrow and do a split shift to make it easier. Quote:
Im driving for Uber in a really busy city. Its awesome when not depressed as can set own hours and work as much as possible, but when depressed its HELL as dealing with people can get tough and hard to drive when so tired. Also my car is really bad for this type of work, but no other choice, but it held up tonight . OMG had some drunk people the first few hours and I was about to lose it, but got lucky the last four hours and had great people and nice long rides away from the crazy party zones. |

Yah it can be. My first year of it I did really well, but the second year my car rejected the extra mileage and had like 8 meltdowns.
I work in a great market for it, and looking forward to getting new wheels soon and hopefully can get 50 hours in a week if I can shake the darkness as I find Uering so hard when the mind and body shuts down. Im glad u survived!!! I did 4 hours and will nap as late night is more money and get the other 4 in. So basically Im half way there and feel great, but long way to go . |

I made it!
20 hours exactly and was so busy made like 35 hours of wage. Im so tired though and today went into crap food freenzy after dieting pretty good this week. But Ill rebalance tomorrow with day off work with three main goals: 1. Shop for the week for food 2. Productive Dr. appt. 3. Movie Ive been really exited to see (Dunkirk)...in fact I remember back in like January when I went into mini-depression and was really down, I told myself I needed to live six more months to see this movie, so here it is! |
