Not everyone but does anyone feel like this?
Feel like looking at everyone consuming, wasting, hurting, so disconnected from nature.
Are so many of us unhappy because we live in square boxes we call home? Because we think happiness is the most likes on a website or social media outlet. Why do I feel like I cannot find anything that makes me feel okay in this life.

I cry every single day. My relationship is being ruined because he can't understand these mood swings. But I don't want to go anywhere I don't want to drive and be in the consistent chairs of this world. If anyone out there could say anything to open my mind please help, I am so sad.

I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. Would it help if someone drove you to appointments to get evaluated by a psychiatrist or to a therapist? When I'm at my worst, sometimes that's the only way I can make it. It sounds like you could use some help. Best wishes.
Thanks for this!

A train wreck would not be anywhere near as messy as what is going on in the world today. We have to find a way to be happy in spite of it; ignoring it won't work. I am a compassionate person and it is very frustrating at times. Volunteering to help people locally helps me. I volunteer with a care giver organization; they are all over the place and one of the few type of volunteering where there are things to do almost any time and with almost any amount of time that you can commit. Just a thought.

I second the suggestion to seek professional help.

OMG yes! I do it politically though. I cannot understand really progressive or really conservative people.
Thanks for this!

Michelle,
I think about these things a lot too. Social media is something I've been reflecting on lately and its effect on society. There's a lot of competition on there, and I think it paints a false picture of "success." Also, so many people try to compete against each other for attention/admiration and set unrealistic standards for themselves, which drives people to attach too much importance to how many likes they receive and the need for constant validation. Personally, I stay away from social media the most I am able to.

As far as the struggles you are experiencing in your relationship and with mood swings, I really empathize with you. It's so hard to struggle with mental health issues, and you just want the people closest to you to understand so badly. I'm still going through these types of issues with family. I hope you have either a T or pdoc, who you trust that can help you. Hugs.

Nothing is important in life except for your health and the health of those you love. Take care of your health, and the rest will fall into place. This is especially hard for those of us with a mental illness, because the mind controls the body as much as the body controls the mind. Try to become stable through medication and therapy, eat healthy, exercise, and don't worry about what the world is doing. You will be able to find your way.

You have inspired and helped me more than you can understand. Thank you.
