I'm on day 2 with like 2 hours of sleep and it's painful does anyone else struggle with sleep issues due to the BP? If so how do you combat it?

Zyprexa worked great for me in the hospital. But they would not give me an rx to tak with me, and I don't have a pdoc appt. till August 2. I can't sleep, either, and am totally cracking up.

Is there any over-the-counter sleep stuff that works? Benedryl/Sominex/Diphenhydramine does not work for me. (It's the same thing, different names).

I struggle nightly. Melatonin isn't helping me much anymore even at 10mg. I'm gonna talk to my dr about it

Other than any meds, I go for a comfortable pillow, complete darkness and a radio comedy show/download - it stops my mind racing and I drop off then.

I just started low dose Saphris last week. So far, it is working pretty well. A good night's sleep and wake alert; even if waken during the night, which is very bizarre. Pricey, though. Even with a coupon it was $292 for 30. But I am only taking a half a pill a night. Still roughly $5 a pop. I am going to fight the insurance company before the refill. I probably wouldn't have picked it up at that price, but my wife did. She has had some bad experiences with me not taking prescribed meds. Really bad. Like pay that without blinking bad.
