My therapist and pdoc and I think that I am showing OCD symptoms.
Especially with my skin picking. My pdoc mentioned Viibryd. Any one take it? I am wondering about buspar???? I even read last night that Naltrexone could help with the picking. Any comments? thank you bizi Who is over: eating drinking interneting picking. Perhaps there is a magic pill for all of these behaviors??? bizi

Would be nice if there was a magic pill that would fix everything! There are some things I'm way over too, like smoking. The other day my husband told me that I was going to give myself cancer if I didn't stop.
I was on buspar once. It didn't help me. It just made me nauseous about a half hour after taking it. I obviously went off it.

I had the same experience with Buspar. Nausea and wasn't helpful at all. Hope you find something that works. Best wishes.

There are no magic pills unfortunately. Buspar didn't help me either.

Buspar was like a sugar pill to me. Zero effects positive or negative.

I take Busbar 3x a day for anxiety. I don't think it stays in your system very long. It seems to help me out most of the time though but there are days when the anxiety is still overwhelming

BuSpar didn't do anything for me, but my (adult) daughter has severe anxiety and BuSpar has always helped her a lot.

Buster didn't work for me either. Viibryd did help with depression, though. I don't know how it is for anxiety. I wasn't on it long though--just enough to get out of the depression.

Buspar did nothing for me except for a slight bit of nausea.

Buspar made me extremely nauseated when I first started taking it, but I pushed through all that and stayed on it. It only helped a little bit with my anxiety, so I had the doctor switch to something else after a few months of little results.

Thank you for your kind responses.
I am actually not picking as much today. I am sleeping poorly, we get a new bed soon! Asked to up the seroquel to 100mg and she agreed to do that. Have been on abilify 20mg for a week at least. Maybe my hypomania is easing up? bizi
