So... I haven't had my period in four months!!
I'm not pregnant. I took a test. And I know what being pregnant feels like, and I don't feel that way. Could this be med related? Like AP related? I'm thinking about going to the doctor. This isn't normal!

Get your prolactin checked. I don't think you're on any prolactin raising meds but you never know.
I don't know how much you weigh but sometimes your period stops if you weigh too little. I didn't have mine for nearly a year and it was because my prolactin was sky high. I dragged my feet getting into the dr and probably could have prevented a lot of my weight gain had I just gone.

Going to the Dr. is a good Idea. I haven't had that on any of my meds.

I don't know. I should research this. Thanks for the reply. I hate going to the doctor and my GP treats me like a leper because of my diagnosis and when I go in she blames all of my symptoms on my anxiety disorder.

I mean. I'm not complaining about not having it. It's sorta nice in all honesty. I just don't think it's normal.

Depending on how old you are it could be menopause/early menopause.
Depending on your birth control, it could affect your period. I have an IUD and it stops my period which I love. But I still get all the symptoms (intense cramps, migraines, cravings, etc) Do you still get the symptoms? |

I'm somewhat irregular. I always get it once a month though. It's just sometimes I'll be two weeks late. I've never gone four months without having it.

I'm not on birth control. I can't take hormonal birth control. It turns me into a raging *****, like the two weeks before my period, but all the time instead. I have been getting one period symptom, which is that my lower back hurts, but that's all.

If it continues for much longer please see your doctor. I do understand about your doctor. I went to a doctor Thursday and once he found out my diagnosis he honed in on that and it had nothing to do with why I was there. Best wishes.

Is there anyway to get a new GP? I'm not talking about this issue, but if a doc cares more about your MI than your physical symptoms I would run. Just because we have MI doesn't mean we don't have valid GP concerns. He/she should support you and work with your pdoc if needed. Keep looking...someone out there is bound to have sympathy and understanding for MI.
