Spider on DVDs

Staring at the book shelf full of DVDs (instead of books) for a moment, thinking of what to watch, I was wide awake. It was 12:45 in the afternoon, when all of the sudden, over the tops of the DVD cases crawls a medium-to-large black shadowy spider. It climbs face-down down the DVD case's spines and into the blackness of the shelf. It was so real that I gasped and asked my kids if they saw it or not. My youngest went and looked and said no, he he could find no spider.

Have you talked to your doc about these hallucinations?

No I haven't called pdoc about the hallucinations. In the past I have but not the last few weeks when they seem to have increased.

Yeah, I see spiders too. Multiple times a day, for months now. Other than creeping me out at times, it's not really a big deal imo. But if it really bothered you, I suppose you could ask your pdoc to increase your olanzapine...??

One thing I hate more than spiders is zyprexa.

Same. So I remind myself that they're not real and try to ignore them by distracting myself. Ymmv.

yeah Ive been having lot of auditory hallucinations lately too.

Years and years ago, I had the scariest visual hallucinations of spiders with webs and as my dad walked, I thought he was kicking away spiders. It was so vivid.....I wasn't sleeping at all, which is what led to some kind of horrible episode. I wasn't on medication at the time. Sorry you're going through the auditory hallucinations too I hope you feel better soon.

Do you think you should bring this up with your pdoc?

Maybe if she asks me if if I've had any hallucinations recently.
