I'm real new at taking benzo's as my pdr. wouldn't RX to me because I was taking narcotic pain meds-the highest dose my dr would allow.Does it work on say-depression or other symtoms of BP besides anger?Hope everybody starts to feel better or is feeling better.

I've never heard it prescribed for depression but I could just be uninformed. I have pretty bad anxiety and panic attacks (a co-morbid condition) along with my bipolar and the benzos help keep that in check.

Hey Jennifer1967. Thanks for the feedback. I can only take 1/2 mg klonopin a day.I don't know why such a low dose.Instead of taking it at bedtime I'll take it when needed.Hope you're doing OK

Sounds like you've got a script to help with sleep. The only other thing it will do for you is help with anxiety, but if you're in pain meds those should help with that as well.

.5 mg. of Klonopin to be taken at bedtime is usually to prevent panic/anxiety that keeps you from falling asleep. Klonopin is not an anti-depressant, except that not experiencing as much anxiety can lessen depression.
