Why do people hate me? Why are they selfish?
Im tired and cant do this anymore, ive spent the last 4 years caring for my mum after she had a stroke when i was 16, nobody shows me respect, im called a thief, i wake up to people trying to argue with me then saying i started it. I cant do this anymore, i tried my best but it wasn't good enough. Im at my limit, im in tears and i haven't cried in a long time. I don't know why people can't just be nice..

Sorry you're having a tough time right.. Care giver burn out is very real. Is there someone who can step in and help or take over her care for a while. Who is calling a thief?

I'm sorry you are having a tough time. You definitely need a break or some help taking care of your mom. Do you have any family that could give you a breather? What kind of support system do you have? You're very young to have so much responsibility. Sending big hugs.

Thats the problem, there is nobody. My sister has two young kids plus i wouldn't trust her to take care of my mum and my gran who is 82.

Sorry, i didn't see your question. My gran accuses me of stealing and playing tricks on her, the thing is my sister is one who did those things and my gran knows this, but i think she doesn't want to believe my sister would do that so she accuses me of these things.

If you are doing the caregiving and you are trustworthy, you deserve respect and appreciation, at least from anyone benefitting from your caretaking.

Your life and your happiness matter, too.

How can you do more caregiving toward yourself?
