This happens too much lately. I went to sleep before 11 PM very tired from meds but started crying just before with no known reason. It just started. I had oddball dreams of being electrocuted by everything I touched, including the wind. I woke up at 3 AM and had obviously still been crying or had started again in my sleep. Had to try sleeping with no pillow then because it was soggy. 4:45 AM and I stopped crying an hour ago but still can't sleep and feel like I've been shocked--that feeling just after--, but I'm not being shocked. Anyone got anything for this? I'm in a depressive state overall for a while but my mind and mood has been all over the place. I am bipolar 1.
At least I see my therapist today. He unfortunately acts like he doesn't believe me when I tell him these things or just glosses over it. That's the only thing about him I dislike. |

Don't be afraid to ask questions of your therapist.
Specifically, when you relate something like this event, you can ask "Does this happen to other patients?" You could even ask "you do believe me, right?" It's your life and you should get the feedback you need to be comfortable living it. |

I agree. I hope you start feeling better soon. Sending big hugs.
