And interestingly enough, I don't really mind the smell of garlic itself(!) It's the next day garlic breath. I don't like it, to be sure it repulses me, but also, a significant part of my reaction to it is a trigger reaction -- it makes me think of my mother, which ... I'd rather not do. Smells are amazingly evocative things -- for good and for bad...
