Yes the holidays make my illness worse.

Do the seasons affect your illness?

It’s my favorite show.

Which holiday is hardest on your illness?

christmas.

lots of memories associated with that.

question: is it sometimes easier for you just not to celebrate the holidays and treat it like a regular, normal day?

Yes, it is easier, but I don't think that has to do with my bp. I just, generally, don't like holidays. I don't dislike people, but I'm also prefer to be alone. Thus, having to spend days where I am forced to play the "social game" is highly annoying.

Do you find that sticky to a regular schedule helps your moods to remain more stable? Or if you haven't tried this, doesn't it sound like a good idea why/why not.

I have a regular schedule that is counterproductive but it’s not impacting my moods. I have an ideal routine sketched out and hope to implement it soon. It would have a positive impact on all areas of my life.

Do you always take meds as prescribed?

I love chicken breasts but not chicken with bones.
Q: What is the best advice you've ever gotten?

Watching 9/11 news over and over stressed me so much I became manic.

Do you have a seasonal pattern up in spring / summer down in fall winter?

1. no.. it is actually a well known fact I do a lot better in winter.

and 2..

demi lovato

her music is awesome, she is a great actress, and i've seen her in interviews.. she's really open about stuff

her music helps me through a lot

question:

do you rely on the internet for shopping?, or can you make it to the store and do okay

I use the internet a lot but I live in a very rural area and don't have a lot of choices in stores here. Stores are hard for me to handle though so I'm happiest when I can avoid them.

Do you ever feel paranoid about your therapist or pdoc?

A. Only when very unwell. I have accused my doctors of conspiring against me and making up my diagnoses.

Q. Are there many people from outside the USA on this website?

I just can’t face Christmas yet. Last year was very stressful and I’d just as soon crawl under a rock. (Sad)

Q. If you could be anyone in the world for a day who would you be?

The person I was in 1999. Healthy and happy. I don't know how to be anyone but me.

Where do you and your therapist (or pdoc or both) sit during sessions?
