Yesterday I went to church because I had to count the money and at the beginning of the service they mentioned they were having an under 40 group meeting and were having pizza and I was like oh cool I'll go. Apparently all of that was too much socializing because I had an anxiety attack and couldn't get it under control until about 5:30 last night. The lady that was sitting next to me was there with her son because apparently she can't let him do anything by himself and she just kept going on and on and touching my arm and I wanted to break her fingers off. Also curb stomp her cause she said something else but I can't say it here cause it's political, but seriously
Possible trigger:
Just the whole fight or flight response came over me and there was nowhere to flee too. I wanted to ask her "are you sure you're a Unitarian Universalist?" ****ing *****. Shouldn't have been there anyways. The other people seemed cool though, but now I need to remember who these people are haha. I'm the person in church that sits in the back and darts out the exit at the end. I've been going to that church since 2014 and still barely know anyone lol. I know the people I usher with and count the offering with but other than that, not too many people. Glad we wear nametags lmao.

I was also told yesterday by a lady sitting next to me during the service that I should be in choir. I'm working on it. Just need a ride to get there, so hopefully my husband can start taking me. Choir practice is at night and I can't see to drive at night.

Today I get to go for nerve testing in my arms, so that should be super fun and my allergy tests should come back soon, so hopefully we can sort all this health BS out soon.

When you need to flee that's a sign telling you need to take care of yourself. Go to the bathroom and then sit somewhere else when you come back. Do whatever you need to do to take care of your needs. If you actually need to leave the premises that's ok too.

Good for you for going in the first place! I hate social gatherings.
