I had a doctor's appointment within the last couple of weeks. I don't trust them, I don't even trust them not to "track" me . Here in the uk they don't "care" unless we're at immediate "risk" and even if I was I wouldn't tell them as I don't trust them ..

Trust nobody, seems to be sensible advice given the number of times I've been screwed over by "professionals".... I find their thinly disguised obsession with cost to be sub optimal. I looked up the side effects of the latest med prescribed and "rash" is common ..

I asked to see a psychologist ... wasn't given a referral :-(

I don't want to beg and I don't trust them anyway

My medical notes are nowhere near accurate

I don't have the desire to wade through the garbage that is the n.s (uk) to try to change this, I mentioned it to the doctor but nothing changed.

Maybe I'm completely "insane" as I don't find being allergic to almost
everything trivial, in the slightest

Unfortunately for me, my allergies aren't immediately life threatening
(So I suppose they are trivial, to the medics )

(((Fuzzybear))). I'm so sorry hun. I can relate so much.....I've been hurt by these professionals....I too don't trust them and find them overly obsessed with cost rather than care. I'm so sorry.....I wish I had advise but all I can offer is sympathy.

I'm reading a book about Empaths right now and it's like reading a book someone wrote about me. I'm very sensitive emotionally and physically. I too have terrible allergies to many things including many meds. The Empath book is providing me lots of food for thought as to why and is suppose to give solutions too but I haven't gotten that far yet. I hope you find answers. (((Hugs)))

While reading your post, I am sitting here as an allergic/sensitivity mess. I have one type of ointment on my ears, one type on my arms and legs and yet another lotion rubbed into my scalp. (All prescribed for skin reactions.)
I feel like my skin is sunburned , with a burning sensation and deep itchiness and prickling. I am reacting to something.

While it's not life-threatening, it's not trivial!

It's very frustrating to have so many drug allergies, too, I know.

Why won't your doc refer you to a psychologist?

(((((( Fuzzy Bear ))))))

Thinking of you!

I'm sorry about your allergies (sadhug) Mine are worst on my face :-(

I think the reason they didn't refer me to a psychologist is ... cost (sigh)

I suppose I could see somebody privately :-( they are very expensive over here and I don't trust them either :/(

I saw the same psychiatrist for over 10yrs and received the very best of care in a very rural area. Moved to New York and the s**t hit the fan. Having the worst time with the pdocs here and the whole d**n HMO scene. Would have thought NY might be a little more progressive and pro-active.

Yeah, I would think so as well. Sorry you're having a tough time finding what you need.
