Do you have a hard time telling how much time has passed? I don't have a good internal clock most of the time. I never know what time of day it is unless I look.

I forget what month it is, or even what season sometimes. Is this a symptom of bipolar? I read once that it was. I've had this my whole life, even before meds.

It's not a bipolar symptom as far as I know.

I have a hyper-aware inner clock, too much so, sometimes. I'm early everywhere, which means I spend a lot of time waiting. I'm also very aware of the weather and the season.

My guess is that time awareness is just a personality characteristic.

It could be a symptom of any medications you take.
Thanks for this!

I have trouble with time, especially if I'm depressed or mixed. I especially have trouble with dates and days of the week if my routine is changed. I tend to be early for everything because I'm scared of mis-judging time but that also can make me late if I guess wrong.

I always assume it's just some side effect since my meds make me pretty groggy.

My clocks were stolen and I don’t wear a watch.

When I’m lost-in-writing I don’t know how much time has passed. It’s not important. I go for a couple of days with no sleep and crash on the third or fourth day/night.

I always know the month and day and the season.

No, not a bipolar issue... I don’t think that it’s indicative of any psychiatric disorder.

Yeah, I don't know. When I'm lost in artistic pursuits, time disappears. When I'm in social situations, I have an unnaturally accurate time sense.

Since I lie somewhere halfway along the introvert/extrovert spectrum, I suspect that the former goes with the former, and the latter with the latter.

Has it anything to do with bipolar? I've manifested since childhood. Beats me.
