I started feeling great last night, then i went to bed. I woke up at 11pm and went out in the garden and started picking up rotten pears with a flashlight. I woke up again at 2 and its like my benzo withdrawal problems have gone away! I took some noopept yesterday, which is considered a nootropic, which are supposed to help brain function, motivation, memory. I took it to help with nenzo withdrawal memory loss. It only has a half life of 30 min-1 hour. But i feel terrific, no anxiety. Theres 2 foster kids here right now, just for the weekend and its like i started getting hyper last night trying to make them laugh and have a good time, they are 2 and 3. We watched Barney and Spongebob and went in the pool. I love these times i get to spend with them. Last night i wanted to adopt them, but i should not be in a hypomania if thats truly my plan. I think that may have been a trigger as well. But ill just enjoy my hypomania and the time i have with the munchkins. Thats all i can do. I was drinking a week ago, for a day and a half. But nobody was home and after my boyfriend got home from a trip to see family, i stopped it dead in my tracks after talking to him. I hope all goes well with me. This is such a special time.

A slight euphoric hypomania is my favorite state. Some people are concerned about whether a good feeling is happiness or hypomania. I think it can be both. Having said that, other people are not always as happy with me as I am. I also don't have brakes and can't stop the ride at slight hypomania. But I admit enjoying it when it stops there by chance.

I try to stay in the moment as much as possible. Last week I woke up happy and then panicked. "Oh no, hypo is on the way" .... I was able to let go of it, get back into the moment, and enjoy the day....thank god!..or Buddha....or the great pumpkin.

Hyperexcitability, restlessness, no need for sleep, reckless behaviour > irritability, hostility, anger, aggressiveness > RAGE. Not classic and no fun at all.

The irritable episodes are no fun, slight or not. Whether it is irritable or euphoric, once it goes past slight I need to take a marker and write STFU on both palms...

I want a little myself. Could really use the lift--I'm low and anxious now. If I could just live there with just a little tiny bit of hypomania before I get to the worse part of it...

Yes! Alas, we get so old that the early beneficial pathways get burned out, and what we used to have been able to rely upon turns out to have been closed off too many moons ago.

Thats how I feel! I had soooo much fun with the kids today. We had a blast and i wore them out so they went to bed at 7:00 partly because i was so high energy today. Now i decide when i should take my seroquel and either try to sleep or see if it even knocks me out.

I agree. Enjoy it but keep an eye on it. Try to get a decent amount of sleep.

Mine is usually enjoyable for me but I annoy others. Yesterday and today I have the really slight buzz (for lack of a better description), so not too bad but I have been a smartass or a bit of a jerk a couple of times.
