I have been a little irritable lately but when i see on the news and hear people talking against jews, its kind of irritating. There was a woman on the news who was head of the CIA under Obama saying that jews run the republican party and jews run world. Also looking at comments from people who are supposed to be accepting saying that jews start all wars in the middle east. I even look at comments about my new pdoc, who happens to be jewish saying "this jew tries doping everyone up" or "the guy is too jewish." Also ive heard people making jokes in public about how jews big noses let them sniff out money. I am of jewish heritage. My grandparents came from Germany in the 30s. I am poor. I really am not that rich. I get 1000 a month from my grandma because i cant seem to get disability right now. I will inherit some money, but i dont even have a car. The money i do inherit will probably be split up to 25-30,000 a year to live on for life since i wont get disability anyways once i inherit money. Thats still less than the average American. I hate hearing bigotry of any kind, but it is a little frustrating being jewish. Jews have gone through alot and the far left and far right and just ignorant people seem to think its okay to hate jews. Sorry, just had to get it out.

I'm glad you vented and got it out. I'm sorry you're coming across so many examples of bigotry. It's shameful.

I am very sorry to hear you are being discriminated against so frequently. The world is a very bigoted place. Most everyone is bigoted and it often stems from ignorance and fear. The biggest problems is how many who are bigoted don't recognize it in themselves......and the ability to even talk about the issue openly is under attack with many trying to take people's rights to free speech away. We need to get honest in our society and see the bigotry we are surrounded by and talk about it openly if anything is ever going to change. (((Hugs)))

From one Jewish woman to another I understand in a way that most people can't begin to. The Jewish people have been persecuted since hundreds of years B.C. and I needn't even delve into the Holocaust except to say that I lost almost all my family in the camps. I never even knew my grandparents.
Now, no one seems to give a damn and aren't willing to even allow us a measly 8,000sq mi for our G*d-given homeland. As dangerous as it is the one thing I'll do is make aliyah before I die and live with my own. To hell with the bigots...

I can't speak about the news because I don't watch it, but I can say that, at least in the area I live, people are very open-minded and are generally not prejudiced against Jews or any other minority. I teach high school and what I see mostly is tolerance of others. I think today's generation has come a long way. I am not trying to minimize your pain, but I do think we are going in the right direction.

It's pure unadulterated garbage! Doesn't the world have enough to worry about then judging someone because of their heritage?
So much hatred and it's so very sad. Feeling some bigotry
