to leave where I am in 4 weeks.

can't pay the money they are asking to keep me here, and since they are being totally unreasonable about it, I need to find somewhere new to go within the next few weeks.

I am hoping (or rather, it would ben ice) to find somewhere close so that the move is a stress-free as possible, but who knows what's going to happen.

all I know is the next few weeks will be difficult for me, and full of emotions

but you're all here, so I have that advantage and i'm so greatful

Wow! That's a heavy load on your shoulders. Perhaps the place you're staying will see it in their hearts to let you stay until your finances come around? You're right, however, in pointing out that we're here for you.

My family was evicted once (family of 5) so we had to move in with my in-laws. Very awkward but after not having to pay rent for 3 months helped us get our feet back on ground and was able to find a cheaper place to live.
So sorry you are going through this. I hope it all works out for you. Sending big hugs.

We've watched all 50 or so episodes of Doc Martin three times. We're due to start watching it again this winter. Our favorite show of all time! Good luck with the search for a new home.

This saddens and frustrates me. I wish the world were more compassionate. I wish you the best as you navigate this experience. My sister is also being evicted, so it's a familiar stressor.
