When i walk outside or anywhere for that matter, my eyes are focused on one thing at a time, not the whole picture. This has been going on since i came off valium and wonder if im having eye issues or benzo withdrawal. Its almost like i dont see a whole park, my eyes just see a bench. So annoying.

Sorry, I don't know for sure but my guess is that it's from stopping the benzo's so fast. Big hugs!

I cannot discern the cause of your symptom(s).

I am very sorry you have symptoms and they are causing you discomfort/uneasiness.

I hope all shifts back to "normal" soon.

The good news is this is the main side effect im having and im not having significant anxiety or depression anymore. So its better to live with one annoying side effect than a 1000 from benzo withdrawal.

If it is a withdrawal symtom it will eventually go away.

*Tunnel vision* is not uncommon in benzodiazepine withdrawal but it may take several weeks to go away because Valium is one of the longer acting benzos.

When did you last take a benzo?? I’ve been going through withdrawal on and off myself and I don’t get the vision but I have read about it. I mostly get the cold sweats, depression, and anxiety. I’ve had other meds seriously effect my eye sight in the past though. It’s kind of scary especially if you have to drive.

I was benzo's before and when I got off them, it was crazy. You need to slowly get off of them. I hope you feel better soon. Talk to your doctor whenever you get the chance.

Cold turkey off a benzo can cause seizures , I think Pdocs are heartless and should lose there license.

Yes, she was a nurse practitioner. 3 years ago they put substance abuse down for a suicide attempt. So she saw that on my file and said she cant prescribe me benzos.

Coming off to fast can cause a hell of a rough ride.

I really hope your feeling better soon.
