My t said something nice today. He said looking at my childhood and how I grew up its amazing I turned out to be such a kind and good person and that I deserve to be proud of that.

As well you should be proud of that! With everything we go through, it's too easy to become jaded and even nihilistic.
Having a good heart and having general well being towards the rest of mankind is something that can't be taken from you. Wear it like a big badge

I grew up with a nasty, mean, abusive stepmother and I told him I do everything in my
Power not to be like her. I had good people in my life before her and people at church who taught me how to be a good person before her. I thank them for their guidance and teaching me how to be kind.
