I was put on valium 6 days ago 10mg 2x day. It's made me seriously depressed so the doc said to quit taking it immediately. I've read people have taken benzos for short times like even a month or two and have no withdrawal. But I worry I will have a bad withdrawal. The good thing is valium has a long half life. But will there be withdrawals?

The doctor should know what they are doing. So like Christina said it should be fine, and if you think anything is off always contact the doctor.

Six days really isn't long enough to have become habituated. You'll probably do just fine.
