More later but it's in about an hour. I hope the zyprexa is lowered again! I showered and am dressed appropriately for the weather so I'm guessing I'm alright.

We are lowering the zyprexa to 2.5- the lowest you can prescribe. Otherwise it all seems normal.

However.... She wants to put me on lamictal or something else like Depakote - both of which I've been on in the past. No thank you rash and no thank you 60 pound weight gain.

Less than 4% deal with the possibility of the rash

If slowly titrated up, my doctor never has seen the SJ type of rash. He has been in the business for a long time, so I tend to take his word for it. Now I have found out a person can get a rash, but this is not the same as one that erupts fron having the Stevens Johnson syndrome. I have found this out from personal experience. Heck, even Tylenol now lists SJ as a possible side effect. So just think of the extremely low odds there.
