It is snowing like crazy here today - we're going to get about 20 cams

I want to give a big shout out to bus drivers who have to drive on icy, snow-packed roads.
You are amazing.

I'm glad it's not snowing here.

I need snow tires, though. Got a brandy new car last month. Don't wanna crash it.

I'm actually more afraid of OTHER drivers than crashing my own car. Some people just tailgate and then they slide.

he called a two truck
a shout out to tow truck drivers who put up with a lot of inconsiderate people

Got a story.....

'Twas a couple of decades ago, my daughter was young, about 3-4 It was close to the holidays and bus service was on holiday schedule, meaning fewer than regular. A storm had come up and it was blowing snow everywhere, wicked cold. We, my daughter and I had just picked up a few bags of groceries and were standing at a open bus stop( no shelter) when the bus running late pulled up. Trying to get up the stairs with both the groceries and my bundled up daughter was a real chore and the paper bags ripped having gotten wet and soggy from standing around in the storm waiting on the bus. The driver hoped right out of his seat and Grabed my daughter plopping her on the first seat and helped me pick up all the fallen groceries then he drove around to the back of the store ran in and got more bags! There wasn't a lot of people on the bus and he said that this was the last bus cause the bus service was being suspended due to the weather. He even drove two blocks closer to my apartment so we wouldn't have to walk so far! I'll never forget that driver. Never. A huge shoutout to all bus drivers in storms, there a rare breed.

I would love to hear more stories like this. More random acts of kindness, more compassion shown to one another.
It is just so unfortunate that we hear so much of the opposite

I thought I was the only one who literally had panic attacks in the snow. Last winter I ended up in the ditch three times and all three times I was a crying mess but not until the person who pulled me out was gone and I was alone did I cry. Sorry I know that was off topic but there are so many of these “things” that I think I’m the only one who feels or reacts a certain way and then when someone says it, I want to dance because I then know that I’m not alone.

Thanks.

Yep. A few years ago I was in my fusion and slid into the back of a pickup at 40mph. How my air bags didn’t go off, I don’t know. I remember the cops saying “ma’am you’re shaking, it’s just a small accident.” Yea right, my car was TOTALED A big shout out to...
