...for people in the USA. I definitely did. Voting makes a difference. I hope no one stayed home assuming their vote wouldn't.

I voted... simply because I wanted to vote on the school bond. If it passes my property tax will go up about $500/yr. Figured since I was there and voting might as well vote for the other things (which I did read up on earlier so it wasn't a blind vote).

I try to vote whenever there's an election. Today wasn't a "big election" - mayor, city council, registrar of deeds, but local politics might have more impact on our daily lives than national politics...which is what Lacuna was getting at. Vote early & OFTEN...I voted six times today!

Today was kind of significant in my state since we voted on a new governor.

Virginia? I hope Northham wins! Gillespie sold out. If it's New Jersey, I don't know much about it. Thanks for the thread.

No, New Jersey. I'll admit that I'm very glad we're finally getting rid of Chris Christie. No one likes him anymore in New Jersey, not even most Republicans in New Jersey. Before the presidential election he started making decisions against the wishes of most New Jerseyans (even Republicans) that he thought would look good in other states (to win him votes in the primaries). What a waste that was! He didn't even stand a chance at becoming the presidential nominee. All he did in the primaries is look like a major A-hole, which he is.

I remember reading that you recently (& reluctantly) moved from Tennessee to Florida. What a bummer. I think I also read that you'll be going back to visit sometime soon, though. I hope that doesn't make you too homesick. Your old senator (Bob Corker) is my new hero! Too bad he's not going to run again.

Two things I do know about Christie, BirdDancer. Bridgegate & him sitting on that empty beach like a beached whale. What a sight that was!
Thanks for this!

No, I didn't make it out. I suck. I didn't even realize it was election day until someone mentioned it today. I don't even know what was on the ballot.

I went to my voting precinct and they said they didn't have voting today. I said we're do I vote. There was not one precinct sign in city. But the kids had the day off.

That's terrible! That's definitely one way to suppress voting in certain areas.
Thanks for this!

Sadly for me, they passed the bond and my taxes will be going up about $500/yr. They just want to keep taxing the **** out of us and people are too stupid to care.

70% of the population is clinically insane at all times and vote according to their insanity. I cannot compete with that.....their “will” shall be done and I must sit back and accept it.

I like to be bad girl cause I'm so good at it. The cops have taken me in so many times that last time they came I asked them nicely to put me in jail. I don't even do anything and I get petitioned. What laugh in the mirror, travel the house call my son frosty god and Santa, he's working on wanna be lord. Get yelled at. Tell the police I wanna talk to the fbi. They wouldn't allow me to call 911 after that. Got stalked with video cameras and microphones, yelled at them for a while. Oh yeah that's what Im being attacked with now a world with 2 lords at the same time. Yelled about illegal aliens learned there is a human disease called illegal alien disease it's much like bipolar and the illegal alien take it out on the legals.
