I'm going through a meds change. I cant't be sure but I think I'm mixed. getting up at 3am every morning. tons of restless energy, irritable and dark
depressing intrusive thoughts. I just want to feel like myself again. oh ya...My dystonia is back and literally making me crazy.

Being in a mixed state can be so hard. I hope you can find some relief. Most of my states are mixed and they are hard. Give a call to your tdoc or pdoc.

I third the calling doc. Mixed states are some of the craziest times that I have been through and that's saying a lot. Please call before it because way worse than should be

I'm not thinking about hurting myself or anyone else, so I doubt He will do much if I called my pdoc. He knows starting new meds and dropping others can induce a lot of unpleasant feelings. I could always go ip until my meds are settled down, but I don't feel like I'm that bad yet.
And I hate the flipping hospital.

That's mixed, alright...but I speed, too, when mixed. I was mixed for a few weeks recently, but a trip to the pdoc & a med adjustment nipped it in the bud. The lack of sleep can catch up with you quickly. Good luck!

The mixed state is by far the most challenging for me. When I'm in these types of states, everything can bother me. A sound, the feel of the wind, the way my socks fit, even gravity seems to piss me off.

I am unstable, irritable, aggressive. At the same time, depressed, pessimistic, and dark. It's a terrible combination that typically makes me feel like I'm breaking apart, or falling apart at the seams.

Definitely talk with your p-doc about this. Especially since you're changing meds. I wish you the best of luck and hope you feel better soon.
