I had a pretty big meds change last week. I'm not eating, barely sleeping and have had hallucinations for the past 4 days (visual). Today it's almost constant. My pharmacist and I are trying to get a hold of my pdoc. But now he won't call back because of the weekend.I don't know what to do.

Do you have any prn's to help get you through? If not there is always the emergency room.

I'll second what Guiness wrote. Not sure what meds you changed but sleep meds like the Zoplicone can induce psychosis in some people.

My pharmacist got back to me and said the geodon can cause them. But he said to keep taking it and they will go away on it's own.

Are you safe waiting for them to go away? That seems like it is asking a lot to hang in there through constant hallucinations.

I agree. Please stay safe. I hope you feel better soon. You’ve had a really tough time lately and deserve some relief. Isn’t it strange how we all react differently on the same medication? Geodon puts me out like a light and doesn’t cause me hallucinations (though to be fair I’ve never had hallucinations). I hope they go away soon. Thinking of you.
Thanks for this!

I quit taking clonazepam ,The invega shot and clozapine cold turkey about a month ago but only now having these symptoms. I had to quit taking all those meds because they were causing me dystaonia. So now I just have to wait. I have olanzapine and haldol and xanex for PRN's.

I guess it is similar to an AD causing sui thoughts and actions. Drugs are so strange.
But the good news is that I think the haldol is helping!
