My son watched a documentary on this today and it triggered him. He came home as soon as he could. I know what it's like to be triggered and it fuuking sucks. He's been asleep ever since he's been home. I feel so bad for him cuz I understand what he feels like.

I know that some of the documentaries are extremely graphic. I think such a documentary is hard for everyone to watch, but especially people who are sensitive spirits. I can't watch such things, either. I can't even watch most nature shows because they often talk about poachers killing animals illegally. I read some extremely sad article in the NYT a week ago about people abusing elephants. I was upset for hours.

I hope your son has a good rest and can put some of those images to rest. It's a shame there is such cruelty on this earth.

He saw a really triggering documentary Early in the week. they had one About using power tools cant go into details on this site. But it was very graphic. It's no wonder he keeps having episodes. I wish the school would have a little sympathy for kids like my son who is sensitive to that sort of thing.

I think it’s beyond insensitive and they shouldn’t be showing graphic documentaries. I hope your son feels better soon.
