I just saw the date and got scared of the "10". Now, 3 is my favorite number and has been forever. Why would 10 scare me and 3 delight me?

When I'm psychotic I have a particular morbid fascination with numbers... 10 means a death and the possibility of a new birth, 3's are about killing. 4 is the cross with no spirit. 5 is the cross with spirit (no I'm not normally religious). 00 is about starting over... 9's are powerful.

I will read the numbers from the http line in chrome and think they have meaning, or I'll translate letters into numbers and get meaning from that. Or count the number of letters and words in a message and so on...

This only started a few years ago.

You can read about Daniel Tammet, who has a condition called synesthesia. He sees numbers as coloured landscapes and relates emotionally to them and uses that to do all kinds of mathematical operations in his head as well as memorize pi to over 20K digits.

I really avoid 6s and 13s like the plague.

I love 7, 11, 21, 33

Think its gambling thing on the numbers I like.

I don't let my kids go to school on Friday the 13th. When we lived in Hawaii the date was 04.04.04. I didnt want to leave the house but my son really wanted to go to the beach. So I took him with my brother. My son fell off a big rock and broke his skull in 3 places. I saw his brain. I don't want to take that risk again.

I think numbers can have significance for people who seek out patterns and connections among things. Number 3 is a good number for me, as I often recheck things three times or in multiples of three. The number 1111 shows up a lot. I remember when big bang theory first aired, thinking it a strange coincidence that Sheldon also used groups of three. I also feel like specific numbers can sometimes show up depending on how close you are to your true path.
