So I'm feeling a low grade depression coming on and fighting the urge to believe the negative thoughts the depressed part of my fuucked up brain is telling me. Fighting the faulty survival instinct that makes me want to self destruct like a broken robot that turns itself off.

So. I thought I would come up with some reasons that life really doesn't suck. A "reasons to wake up in the morning and not kill yourself" list for me to reread when I am feeling like giving up. Here is what I came up with:

-My awesome coworker friends who always make me laugh and have my back
-my cats greeting me at the door when I come home from work, and purring super loud in the AM just bc I am awake.
-Coffee
-The fun parts of my job, when my kids are making me smile and Somebody finally learns something they have been having a hard time with
-My parents and siblings (is it bad my cats came before them??)
-Eggplant parm, brownies, BBQ potato chips, cheese, and pickles.
-Getting my passport stamped as I enter some new country for the first time
-Laughing until my stomach hurts with my best friend
-That feeling of anticipation, where I get super excited about some upcoming trip or event

This is really just me rambling but feel free to add your own reasons if you like. I feel like the board could use some more positive threads and I am trying to convince myself how fuucking great life really is for when my mind forgets and can only see blackness.
Take it easy all.
