Could zyprexa cause a loss of menstruation? Ive been without a period for over a year and suddenly i start my period. One thing thats changed is a reduction in zypreca
Any ideas?

Anything is possible when it comes to medications, Loads of chemicals ingested daily can do all sorts of weird shyt.

Best to contact your Pdoc and find out what he/she thinks.

I know several APs can raise prolactin. I don’t know if zyprexa is one of them. Invega and risperdal did it to me and like you I didn’t get my period for a year. It came back when I started treatment for high prolactin.

Risperdal did this to me for up to a year after quitting it. I had to be put back on birth control to regulate me again. Yea not having a period is great but I didn’t feel healthy with that.

I also had this problem on invega. No periods in almost 3 years. Lots of pregnancy tests!

I've had this problem with one AP but I can't remember which one. Possibly Zyprexa. My periods are all wonky now on Abilify but it could be perimenopause in my case.
