Saw my dr and t yesterday and both say I'm mixed right now. Pdoc upped my haldol and now I take 5mg twice a day! I am also supposed to take Ativan daily.

I'm depressed but anxious as hell and feel like I'll explode inside. Doesn't feel good.'

I felt kind of dumb at pdocs office yesterday. I'm on a lot of high dose meds.

200mg lamictal twice a day
5 mg haldol twice a day
80mg Latuda twice a day
Ativan 1mg

I'm having issues right? It's not my fault is it? I'm taking those meds as prescribed but he made me feel bad for being on meds and still struggling!

I've learned meds don't stop episodes it just lowers severity and length. It's not your fault you're on so many meds.

You trust him? It's really okay you're taking what you need right now maybe when you feel better you'll lower it. This is just a hiccup, you'll get better. Try not to stress about what you're taking as long as you get better that's all that matters. When do you see him again?

Sorry you’re feeling so awful. Hopefully the extra Haldol will calm things down. Don’t worry about the meds you are on. Each one has its place and when you are stable you can review with your pdoc if any can be lowered or dropped. Mixed is hell and to have to deal with it at this time of year is so unfair. Hang in there. It will pass, episodes always do.

I feel a little better today. I'm not even mouthy or crying. I feel a bit calmer with the extra haldol.
