Hi everyone,

I haven't posted much since last winter and the reason for that is that things improved so much that issues relating to MH were far off the radar. For background, I had migraines being treated for 12 years on just 10 mg of Lexapro and then after having a strange period last year, my doctor thought I might have bipolar so they changed my medicines up and down like crazy. I was in a very bad state by December. By February, I was mostly back on exactly what I took for 12 years with a little bit of Lamictal added. Essentially, once all the experimental neuroleptics and Ativan were out of the picture, I wasn't in a state of despair (and it's unclear what was causing it, or whether it was that my Lexapro was lowered to sub-therapeutic doses, as raising it back to near where it was made everything seem mostly right again).

I still have some issues, but they feel more like the mild fluctuations I've been used to for decades. At some point, I'll taper down off the Lamictal due to memory issues and since I think the lowered Lexapro dose is what caused me so many problems (as well as trying Abilify, then having to stop, then Rexulti, then having to stop, along with possible withdrawal/rebound anxiety from the Ativan). Incredibly, since I stopped taking Ativan, I haven't experienced any anxiety. Absolute zero.

I wanted to share in case people remembered me and were worried I had gone away and the worst had happened. Fortunately, it's just good news to share. Hope everyone is doing well.

YW! It was a pretty traumatic time but to my surprise, I started started to feel like myself again. I worried that would never happen again.
