I see my pdoc tomorrow and I'm scared if I'm honest about my issues he will change my meds. I hate med changes and I want to stay on my same meds without anything being added. My hubby is coming with me though and if I'm not honest, I know my hubby will speak up.

Be honest and tell him straight up that you don't want any med change. I don't see the point of see a doc if you're not going to be honest.

Can I ask why you want to stay on your current meds if you're still having issues? No judgement, just wondering.

A great idea to have hubby come with you. Mine does it sometimes and it’s always helpful.

I wanted to reassure you re med changes.
I was against making changes but when I was IP last Nov/Dec my psychiatrist made them anyway.
Guess what?
I’ve put on a few kilograms BUT I feel energetic (so I’ll be able to lose them), my head is the clearest it’s been since 2016, my memory is coming back, my ability to cook is returning, I can go places or run errands and not get lost trying to find home.
Life is starting to look up all because of a med change.

Totally get it. Gained 50lbs last year and currently need vyvanse to keep me awake. Its tough finding that balance.

Be honest it will help you get better. From your posts your meds don't seem to be doing that great of a job. Be open to trying new things. I also understand your fears.

My lamictal dose is maxed out. I don't care if he increases my geodon. But you're right, the combo I'm on now is not helping.

I'm very late in reading this thread. Interesting thread with lots of thoughtful input. I vote for honesty, too.

I hope the appointment proves helpful.

I have one in a couple of hours. I am going to talk possible med changes; the low dose saphris is crazy expensive and I am not convinced that .25 mg/day is doing that much. I can sleep when I skip it. The wellbutrin immediate release is causing bowel movements to be infrequent and sometimes painful.

On topic, I will be completely honest about all of this.
