Establish a routine. Get up at the same time go to bed at the same time. Get outside at least once a day.

I agree with establishing a daily routine.
I suggest also building into that routine, time for exercise and time for socialization.

I wish you the best as you adjust to your life outside of an inpatient unit.
We are quite supportive here at PC; please feel free to ask for ongoing support.

Take good care of yourself.

Take time to become reacquainted with how things appear and work around you. When I come home from IP, I usually take some time to gradually get back into the routine. If I go too quickly I feel overwhelmed. Everything looks new to me, and I have to readjust to my house and family.

Ditto to what everyone else has said. After I’ve been IP I am often lost even in my own small apartment. It’s like it belongs to someone else.
I’ve found creating an activity schedule helpful. Make sure you have something enjoyable to look forward to every day.

Take baby-steps back into the world and like the others said, make a daily routine. Take it day-by-day and slowly adjust to do things again. I tried doing too much at once and it drained me, so now I do what I can until my energy is back at 100%.
